Things in Common is designed to show you the people around your Instagram account without collecting more than it needs. This page explains what we see, what we store, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you connect an Instagram professional account, Meta shares only what its official Instagram API allows: your account information, your posts, and the comments and replies on those posts. We do not see your follower list, who you follow, private messages, stories, or any other profile data.

How we use it

We store this data so you can see who has interacted with your posts over time and how often. We do not sell your data, use it to train models, or share it with advertisers.

Data retention

Your Instagram data is stored only while your account is connected. You can disconnect Instagram at any time from the dashboard, which deletes your stored posts, people, and interactions from our database.
